DeGroote Marketing and Communications

Our team uses marketing and communications strategies to create data-backed solutions, leading many aspects of internal and external marketing and communications for the DeGroote School of Business.

What We Do

Welcome to the DeGroote School of Business Marketing and Communications hub. This is our team’s digital space reflecting our commitment to strategic marketing and integrated communications, where strategy meets storytelling, connections are fostered, and partnerships are valued and nurtured.

Discover how we drive impact, ignite conversations, shape perceptions, and elevate the School’s reputation. Our passion for effective marketing and strategic communications supports the goals of the DeGroote School of Business, aligning with the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan.

Collaboration and partnership are at the root of the work that we do. All projects, big and small, start from the point of exploring our partners’ goals and objectives. Our approach is process-driven. We ask questions and engage in active dialogue to understand partners’ needs to deliver collective, successful outcomes.

It starts with an objective, and then we tailor the messages to the audience on the correct platforms (web, email, social media, media release, etc.).

We start with our audience and then ideate, research, write, and design against various mediums, including articles, videos, infographics, media, social media, and more. Our goal? To connect with the audience, drive engagement, and achieve meaningful outcomes.

How do you stand out in a crowded market? Market research and audience analysis. We start with a competitive analysis, work on positioning and messaging, and refine a visual identity to support success.

We connect with DeGroote’s community and introduce them to our digital ecosystem. This is all done while providing our partners with reports to ensure decisions are made in a data-driven manner to maximize potential awareness and return on investment.

Paid advertising is all about promoting DeGroote to a specific targeted audience through various channels like social media, search engines, or display networks. It involves investing money to reach potential customers and increase visibility for the school and our offerings.

Website development is the process of building a functional online platform through coding, design, and content creation to serve various purposes on the internet. We use data-backed decisions to create the best UX flows and designs for DeGroote.
