Social Media Guidelines

The DeGroote Marketing and Communications team manages the school’s official social media accounts.

Do you have a message you think our social media audiences will be interested in? Let us know by submitting this form. Please submit your request at least ten working days ahead if your message is time-sensitive.

Important: Using this form doesn’t guarantee your message will be shared. Our social media team needs to make decisions about what to post based on audience preferences, timing and resources, and the school’s overall content and communication strategy.

Before submitting your social media request, please ensure you have reviewed our Social Media Policy. And that your images adhere to the best practice of size by channel, as explained below. We created a short video here on how to make a custom canvas size in Canva and crop any photo for free. Make sure you have permission to use the picture you’ve chosen in this context before you upload it for us.

Our Social Accounts

We run the below accounts for the DeGroote School of Business. Each has a unique audience and requirements for posting. Please take the time to review these descriptions before submitting a request to post on DeGroote channels.

LinkedIn is one of our primary social channels and is our best audience for communicating with alumni, staff, faculty, and other DeGroote community members. It is also used frequently by current MBA students and the most deeply engaged undergraduate students.

We recommend using LinkedIn to highlight success stories for students, alumni, faculty, and researchers, along with general announcements and networking and community events that aim to reach an audience outside the DeGroote community.

Posting Formats
