DeGroote Website Work

We operate over 40 DeGroote School of Business websites, using data-backed decisions to create the best UX flows and designs.

About Our Website Process

Understanding the purpose of your website involves delving into its goals and scope, answering the why, what, and how behind its objectives. Identifying the purpose of a website or webpage involves:

  1. Clarifying the overarching goals
  2. Asking why the site is being built and who it is for
  3. Strategizing on how to achieve these aims effectively

All websites strive to deliver eye-catching design and a pleasant user experience, but they also need to reach (and grow) a target audience. A fundamental aspect of website design begins with understanding your end users—gathering demographic data and insights into their behaviors is invaluable in crafting a site that caters to their needs.

By grasping the intentions driving the website’s creation, setting clear objectives, and focusing on the intended audience’s preferences and behaviors, together we can lay a strong foundation for a website that resonates and engages effectively.

The process of planning kicks off with the submission form below. The form is then evaluated by the Marketing Manager (Digital), and a meeting is booked to better dig into the timeline request and SOW design. Our general process flow for a new website is outlined below:

Website Request Form

Given our workload managing over 40 websites for the DeGroote School of Business, we will always need to evaluate overarching faculty goals vs. our bandwidth and resourcing. We are solution oriented, and will always strive to help our programs and partners when needed.  Your role in providing comprehensive details upfront will enable us to kick-start our collaboration more effectively and work towards realistic timelines and scopes.

This form serves as our initial step toward understanding your website requirements and collaborating on potential goals. Your insights and details are invaluable in shaping what we can accomplish together!
